In the year 1969, two young enthusiastic Koticha Brothers of Rajkot have founded seeds of this diversified company, JayshreeVyapar Limited (JVL), the premium business group of Saurashtra region. Today, after more than 4 decades of excellence, it is a professionally managed closely held dividend paying public limited company.

Jayshree Group (JG) has grown into an enormous business house that is engaged in diverse business interests across the nation. It's been the tradition of the JVL Group that it values the long lasting relationship of Trust and Friendship.

Being in the business of Distribution & Marketing, Bulk Supplier, Indenting Agency, Transportation, C&F Agency, Export & Import, Real estate development and distribution of Building Materials & Raw Materials, JVL's belief goes deeper for the distribution. In conventional terminology, distribution only connotes mere distribution of any material. The scope of distribution ranges from building network right up to delivering the product, but for JVL, distribution is much more than this. They believe in the entire process of distribution where the role of the distributor becomes more vital. As he performs a role of a bridge who connects customers through a dealer network and simultaneously provides utmost satisfaction to the producer.

For JVL, a successful distributor is the one, who keeps a balance between the principal producer company and the sales channel partners with a positive, simultaneous approach. He is the one who is responsible for the Win-Win-Win business proposition for value added services to end user, dealer as well as to the producer. Distributor's key role is to provide excellent service to the sales partners as well as a principal producer company by fulfilling all the responsibilities. JVL has showed this understanding in various successful implementations over all these years and they feel proud for this, as one of their precious achievements.

Mr. Shashikant Koticha, Chairman & Managing Director

Visionary Mr. Shashikant Koticha, born in November 1943, is Chairman & Managing Director of diversified business group Jayshree Vyapar Ltd. (JVL). He is also CMD in group companies Jayshree Finvest Ltd. and Shakoti Agro Forestry Pvt. Ltd. at Rajkot. He did his masters in Commerce from the Gujarat University. In his early days of career he worked for publication agency and also worked in Bank of Baroda for a few years. He, along with his younger brother Mr. Chandrakant Koticha, planted the seeds of this JVL group empire in 1969.

He had been the Founder, President of Rajkot Share-holders' Association and held the responsibilities of execution and participation in policy formulation, management, public relations, growth planning and developments. Mr. S. Koticha has been awarded the Parker International Pen friend Program, Wisconsin, USA. He was felicitated with a trophy by renowned film celebrity Smt. Jaya Bachchan for his regular donation of blood. He also honored for organizing the Golden Jubilee of Charitable Night School, Rajkot. He was appointed as a member of Gujarat Ecological Commission by the Gujarat Government.

Going through hard struggle in the early days of personal life, Mr. Shashikant Koticha is committed to help the poor and needy persons. He founded the Saurashtra Medical and Educational Charitable Trust - one of the biggest and most reputed NGO of Saurashtra regions to help the underprivileged section of the society. For his noble humanitarian activities, he was honored and facilitated by the Governor and Chief Minister of Gujarat.


Mr. Chandrakant Koticha Director

Mr Chandrakant Koticha, a man of action is born in November 1944. He is a founder director of Jayshree Group. He is holding a bachelors degree in Commerce and cleared the intermediate examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from New Delhi. He has also participated severally in the Top Executive & Managers Training at the reputed institutions.

In his early days of career he worked with Rajkot based Taj Groups of Restaurant, Rajkumar College and at Publication agency at Rajkot. He is Director of JVL group and responsible for the policy formation, general management and for the public relations of the company nationally and internationally.

Mr. Chandrakant Koticha, for past many years, dedicated his full life for the humanitarian services and for the upliftment of unfortunate and weaker section of the society. For his self-sacrificing work for the society, he was honored and awarded by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi with the 'Sharedil Award'.


Mr. Ashish Koticha Marketing Director

A young, energetic and envisioning Mr. Ashish Koticha is born in October 1974. He is the Marketing Director of JVL group of companies. With his new ideas and envisage for the future, he has taken forward efforts and firm foundation of the JVL Group with new energy and spirit.

A Commerce graduate, Mr. Ashish Koticha is responsible for the day to day operations of the JVL group of companies and also dedicatedly heading the team of professionals in the Marketing division of JVL group. He has added new divisions in the diverse services of JVL group and with his intense research and development work; many new divisions will be added to the JVL group of companies in the near future.

As per family traditions, this young generation of Koticha family also dedicated his life to the humanitarian activities. Even though a busy schedule, everyday, Mr. Ashish Koticha, devotes his quality time to the philanthropic activities of Project 'Life'.
